I did some contract work for a company in Alabama for VR experience of the Temple of Herod in Jerusalem as it was at the time of Jesus Christ. These are some of the models that were used in that project.
In the Project, I expanded my expertise of complex normal texturing. Most of the Normals used in the texturing of these objects were made by me in Maya first and then developed into tools to be used in Substance Painter as I textured them. I had follow relatively strict guidelines, following specific detailed information, regarding height and symbolism. All of the symbols and carvings on the objects are symbolic icons suspected to have existed on the objects. Symbols that represented the different aspects of God and his Church.
